Her parents were John McMillen native of Canada and Bertha Meyn McMillen Becker native of Norenberg, Germany. Her sister Emma Bertha Axie McMillen is not linked below. She was born 23 Apr 1897 and died on 11 May 1897 in Raywood, Liberty County, Tx. SOURCES: Texas Death Certificate 13264 ∼ Funeral Services for Mrs. Austin Held on Tuesday Mrs. Sadie Viola Austin, 35, Liberty housewife and mother of six children, died at 7:25 a.m. Monday from a heart ailment which stuck her March 14. She died in a city hospital. A lifelong resident of Liberty County, Mrs. Austin was born in Raywood. Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in Allison Funeral Service chapel. Burial was in City Cemetery. Survivors are her husband, Roy Austin, Liberty businessman; four sons; two daughters; three brothers, George McMillen of Houston, Lincon McMillen of Daisetta, and Dewey McMillen of Raywood; two sisters, Mrs. Martha McKinley of Houston and Mrs. Esther Weaver of Raywood; and three grandchildren.
