October 17, 1940 - May 18, 2015 John Prentice Shearon, age 74, of the Brewer's Chapel Community, died, Monday, May 18th, 2015 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's & heart disease. Mr. Shearon was born October 17th, 1940 in Cheatham County, TN to the late H.E. "Buster" & Ruby Shearon. He was a retired Lab Technician with Tennessee Department of Transportation and a homebuilder and farmer. He was also a member of Brewer's Chapel United Methodist Church for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Gregory Milton Shearon. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruby Nicholson Shearon; sons, Wayne (Denise) Shearon of Chapmansboro; Kevin (Lorrie) Shearon of Clarksville, Gaines (Michelle) Shearon of Chapmansboro; sisters, Sherry (Eugene) Keel of Port Royal, Elizabeth Moore of Cedar Hill; and grandchildren, Lucas, Emily, Jennifer, Tyler, Paige Shearon & Megan Smith. Burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Wayne Shearon, Kevin Shearon, Gaines Shearon, Tyler Shearon, Lucas Shearon, and Timmy Jennette serving as pallbearers. Parent links by 47028391
