Effie N. Hartman Dec. 1, 1990 Former Hereford resident, Effie N. Hartman, 88, of Friona died Saturday, Dec. 1, 1990. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Sixth Street Church of Christ with Leon Talley, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park of Hereford by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home. Mrs. Hartman, born in Youngsport, had been a Friona resident since 1984, moving there from Hereford. She married Elwyn Hartman in Colorado Springs in 1943. He died in 1988. She was a member of the Sixth Street Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Charlcie Clark, in 1988, and five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Mava Northcutt of Friona; a sister, Adell Clark of Cisco; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
