Married (1) Estelle Herring (2) Jessie K. Long From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram , Thursday, August 19, 1993, Sec. A, p. 29: NORTH RICHLAND HILLS - E. P. Carpenter Jr., a livestock broker, died Wednesday of natural causes at home. He was 79. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Carpenter was born in Rhome. He was a member of the Cattlemen's Association and the National Horse Association. Survivors: Wife, Jessie Carpenter of North Richland Hills; three sons, Joe Ed Carpenter of Ashland, Ore., and Leroy Gleim and Earl Gleim , both of Bedford; sister, Maggie Spain of Dallas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
