Services for Delmore Weldon (Doug) Eastman were on Monday, Jan. 8, at the LDS Woodruff Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Eastman Cemetery at Woodruff, Utah. Eastman, 77, died Thursday, Jan. 4, in Evanston. He was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Woodruff, Utah, a son of Marshall Vincent and Eliza Tryphenia (Cook) Eastman. He married Leath Virginia Bruce on Nov. 7, 1934, in Woodruff. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a cattle rancher, and a former Rich County Commissioner. He was a county road supervisor, a town board member, and drove a school bus for 18 years. Survivors include his wife, Leath Woodruff, Woodruff; sons, daughters, brothers, a sister, 22 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Weldon Bruce and Dennis C. Eastman.
