Bio
Frances Inez Mayfield Reynolds, 93, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, in San Angelo. She was born to the late Emory B. and Annie Rhea Matthison Mayfield Monday, Feb. 27, 1922, in Weinert, Texas. Frances married Loren Reynolds on July 22, 1942, in Abilene. He preceded her in death in September of 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of San Angelo. Frances was a devoted elementary teacher for over 32 years; 25 within San Angelo ISD. She was a member of TSTA, RTA and a lifetime member of Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers. She was a charter member of Theta Pi Charter. Frances will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside service in the Weinert Cemetery, Weinert, Texas. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Mary Mayfield; niece Cathy Goudy and her husband, Kenny; cousins Tiffen and Erlinda Mayfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
