Diana "Dee" Louise (Sedlak) Young Mayben, age 64, of Litchfield Park, AZ formerly of Columbus died January 16, 2014 in Litchfield Park from pancreatic-liver cancer. Dee was born February 13, 1949 in Stromsburg, Nebraska to Joe and Kris (Prochaska) Sedlak. She graduated from Aquinas High School, David City in 1967. She married Jack Young June 6, 1970, and they had a son, Joshua. She later graduated from Kearney State College in 1972 where she received her bachelors of arts and masters degree. She taught in Bellwood and Columbus Public School where she was the girls golf coach. She earned her administration degree in 1997 from Wayne State College and was a principal in the Columbus Public School System. Dee married William Mayben January 10, 1998. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling and her new grandson. She is survived by: Husband: Bill of Litchfield Park, AZ Son: Joshua (Kimberly) Young and grandson Cameron of Fontana, CA Sister: Bernadette (Terry) Richards of Warsaw, MO Brother: Ronald (Barbara) Sedlak of Columbus, NE 3 step daughters: Krischa Jones, Julie Arce, Sara Quitz and nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Kris, 2 step sons: John Mayben and Phil Mayben, brother-in-law: Jerry Harris and one infant niece.
