Wallace M. Funk Jr. of Phoenixville Wallace M. Funk, Jr., 80, beloved husband of Connie Funk, passed away May 9, 2015. He is survived by his step-children; Nancy R. (Nick) Lewis, Ronald G. (Michaleen) Allen and Charles A. Allen. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and his brother, Richard (Ruth) Funk. He had worked as a computer programmer with UNIVAC (UNISYS) until his retirement in 1993. He had an interest in the Apollo missions program and witnessed a number of launches. He was a 12 year veteran of the Army with the rank of Staff Sergeant. The biggest event of life was his marriage in October 1979 to Connie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at the Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. There will a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to his service. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
