Daughter of Luke Pitts (1808-1874) and Louisa Alexander (1806-1871). Married Nathaniel Bennett in 1857. Some census records have her name as Francine Mandana. Death record lists Mandana F. Bennett. 1850 Springfield, Bradford, Penn 1870 Seneca, Wood, Wisconsin 1880 Wood, Wood, Wisconsin 1900 Buckley, Pierce, Washington 1910 Getchell, Snohomish, Washington 1920 Marion, Snohomish, Washington The 1880 lists many of the children: 1880 Wood, Wood, Wisconsin- Bennett, Nathaniel 46 farmer Penn Fremeina Manda 43 wife Penn Clara 20 daughter Wisconsin Clenna 18 dau Wisconsin Maria Louisa 16 dau Wisc Bell 14 dau Wisc Oliver 12 son Wisc Lewel 10 son Wisc Victor 8 son Wisc Mary 6 dau Wisc Louis 3 son Wisc John 2 son Wisc -- Nathaniel and Mandana had at least 16 children. Some of the children of Nathaniel and Francina are: Clara E., Clarinda, Maria Louisa "Ida", Isabelle, Oliver Nathaniel, Ruel F., Victor Grant, Mary, Louis, John, Bernice and Jerome. Daughter Clara married John Hammel and they reside in Getchell, Snohomish Co. WA in 1910. Daughter Isabelle "Belle" married Charles Gill and they reside in Marion, Snohomish Co. WA in 1920. Daughter Maria Louisa "Ida" married Ulysses Ayers and reside in Buckley, Pierce Co. Washington in 1900. Nathaniel died in 1923 in Everett, at the age of 89, and was the son of George Bennett.
