Died at age 84. Bernice was married. Parents: Oscar Hamilton Harris. Ethel Vera Buckner. Oscar and Ethel married July 25, 1925 in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama. FHL Film number 1683911, Reference I.D. number V100, page 13. Married John Wesley Hallman February 8, 1948 in Remlap, Blount, Alabama. OBITUARY: Bernice Lorene Hallman, age 84, of Pine Mountain passed away at her residence on May 8, 2015. Mrs. Hallman was a member of Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church and supported her husband in the ministry for over 30 years. She loved to paint. She is preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Ethel Buckner Harris; grandson, Tim Hallman; brother, Wade Harris; and sisters, Agnes Littlejohn, Lois Huffstutler, Irene Riconda, Audry Harris and Martha Harris. She is survived by husband of Pine Mountain; five sons; 13 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and one brother of Pine Mountain. Bro. James Masters officiated funeral services on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 3PM from Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church with burial following at Lee's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Buddy Hallman, Matthew Hallman, Luke Hallman, Charles Hallman, Rob Cole, Brandon Weems, Steven Jackson, John Wier and Garrett Holcombe. [Long Family Funeral Homes obit via internet].
