Bio
Mary was born in Ireland and she lived in North Carolina with her parents for a few years before moving to Texas. She first married Mr. Miller and had 2 daughters and he died while they were still very small children. After her daughters married she married James Selene Stout who then died in 1897 and is buried in the Pine Forest Cemetery in Hopkins County, TX. He had been married previously and had 11 children by his first wife. Mary Stout taught school in Saltillo for several years. She was living with her daughter Josie Redding when she died.
