Bio

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrill Janda, immigrants from Czecholovakia. Agnes Brinkman was born in Plattsmouth, Neb. on 15 April, 1897. She was married to Henry R. Brinkman on 24 November, 1914. They had two children, Alice Mary Brinkman in 1916, and Richard Brinkman in 1920. They later moved to Sedalia, Missouri, where Mr. Brinkman worked at the Railroad Shops there, making refridgerator cars. Her death at an early age was caused by an advanced case of diabetes. ====================================================== She is survived by her husband, a daughter Alice Meyer, a son Richard Brinkman, two sisters, Mrs. Clara Slatinsky and Mrs. Tony Pitz, and two brothers, Thomas C. Janda and Charles Janda. Agnes passed away Saturday, January 8th at her home in Sedalia. - Sedalia Democrat - Sunday, January 9, 1949 pg.4 ----------------------------------------------- Info from death cert. Daughter of Cyrill Janda. Married at time of death, husband Henry R. Brinkman. Aged 51 yrs, 8 mons, 23 dys. Buried in Calvary on January 11, 1949. ----------------------------------------------- *Husband Henry Richard Brinkman is also listed on the stone, but on his death certificate, it says he is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery. He is buried with his second wife, Amy (Marlin) Brinkman.*
