Bio

Mr. Boone was born Dec. 9, 1924 in Hyannis, Neb., a son of the late Jake and Margaret Krouse Boone. He served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force during both World War II and the Korean War. Following his retirement, he was the owner/operator of Discount Shoes in the Five Points area of Rockingham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann McKenzie Boone.
