SHINER: Benedict A. Molnoskey, age 84, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. He was born on September 30, 1930 in Gonzales to Joe and Frances Chilek Molnoskey. He was a farmer and worked at Spoetzl Brewery. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces, member of the American Legion and was a Catholic. Survivors: sons, Robert Molnoskey of Houston, Marvin Molnoskey and wife Brenda of Shiner and Timothy Molnoskey of Shiner; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Victor Molnoskey of Houston and August Molnoskey of Lake Sommerville. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maricella Molnoskey; son, Patrick Molnoskey; brothers, Felix Molnoskey and Paul Molnoskey. Rosary at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Burial at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
