JEMIMA ANN LITTLE per Ronnie Rainwater 1970 Jemima Ann (Aunt Annie) Little was the daughter of James Little and Nancy Nelson Little. Annie, as she was known, was born in Patrick. Annie married "Dee" Greenwood who seems to have been the son of John Greenwood, who gave the land for the Holly Springs Baptist Church at Pinehill, Texas in Rusk County (now Pinehill Baptist) in 1851. After Dee and Annie married, "Dee" got into a disagreement with a man and killed him. Dee and his family left Rusk County for the Indian Territory. "Aunt Annie" came back to visit her kin in Rusk County, but "Uncle Dee" couldn't for fear he would be arrested. One of Annie's daughters married Simon Parker, an Indian, said to be the son of Quannah Parker. The Indian gave Dee several sections of land if he would permit him to marry his daughter Ellen (or Ella). Lela Little, "Dee", and Annie lived near Marietta and Ardmore. The Indian man and Ellen had several daughters, one of which was very beautiful and played the organ. Annie had another daughter, Pearl, and some sons. When Annie's brother, George Washington Little, visited her, while his son William lived nearby, the men in that part of the country still wore guns. Laura married Simon Parker, Lillia married F. A. Shellenerger,Sr, Ida married a Roland and Ella married a Harris. Their sons were Gord, Andy, Leslie (Snow),Claude and possibly one or two others.
