He had lived in Corpus Christi for 20 years and was an independent oil broker. He attended the University of Utah. He was survived by seven sisters, Mrs. Lillie Lind of Edinburg, Mrs. Norma Carroll of Laredo, Mrs. Mary Burwell of George West, Mrs. Jane Nagy and Mrs. Gwendolyn Carroll both of Dilley, Mrs. Alice Joyce Nance of Big Wells, and Mrs. Pauline Nelson of San Antonio; and one brother, Travis Lann of Round Rock.
