Bio

Weldon Wayne Goodson, 70, of Bertram, Texas, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Seton Medical Center in Austin. He was born to Alexander Goodson and the late Mary (Richeson) Goodson on August 23, 1935, in Childress, Texas. He is survived by his four daughters, Rhonda Goodson of Round Rock, Waynenetta Riggs of Beaver, Oklahoma, Tammy Red of Sunray, Texas, and Sheryl Fowler of Kempner, Texas; three sons, Chris Goodson of Dalhart, Texas, Danny Goodson of Austin, and Shane Goodson of Gruver, Texas; a special extended family, Paula Wear of Liberty Hill, Bud Lane of Andice, and James Lane of Andice. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Weldon was preceded in death b a son David, his long-time companion Wanda Lane, a grandson, his parents, two sisters and a brother. Graveside services and interment were held on Saturday, June 3, at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Chaplin James Mahan officiating.
