Bio

Her father enrolled in the military at Keokuk, Iowa when she was 8 months 22 days old. Her mother died when she was 3 years 2 months 12 days old. Her father was discharge 20 Jul 1865 from the military at Atlanta, Georgia when she was 4 years 8 months 2 days old and they moved to up around Decatur County, Iowa. Then on 22 Aug 1865 her father married Sarah Jane Anderson when she was 4 years 9 months 4 days old. Next came her half brother Luke, 01 Dec 1869. She was 9 years 13 days old when he arrived. I think things were hard on her at a young age.
