Enos Mills the son of Seth and Charity Thornburg Mills was born 29 Feb 1816 in Wayne County, Indiana. [U.S., Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935, Hinshaw Index to Selected Quaker Records, 1680-1940, Missouri Mortality Records, 1850] He married Edith Mankins 14 Jun 1838 in Washington County, Arkansas [Flashback, Vol 16 Washington Co. Historical Society Feb 1966, J Lemke Editor] The known children of Edith and Enos Mills were; Martha Jane, Lydia, William R, Henry, Lucinda Ellen and Enos Mills. [1850 US Census] Enos passed in Dade County September of 1849 [Missouri Mortality Records, 1850] Most likely buried at brother Henry Mills homestead.
