Victoria Agnes (Trojacek) Kohn, 93, of Waxahachie, passed away on April 17, 2015, in Waxahachie, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015, with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Victoria was born in Telico, Texas, to the late Charles and Mary (Taraba) Trojacek. The family later moved to Ennis. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1940. Upon graduation, Vickie worked at Kucera’s in Ennis. She was united in marriage on November 4, 1946, to Jerry Kohn in Ennis, and they made their home in Dallas. From 1945 to 1952, Vickie worked at Sears and Roebuck in Dallas in the accounting department. She later became a homemaker and bookkeeper for Jerry’s business. Vickie enjoyed sewing, embroidering, vegetable and flower gardening, and baking. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas, WFLA, SPJST #25, RVOS, the Krouzek Ceskych Zen (Circle of Czech Women) of Ennis and Dallas, where she served as treasurer from 1982-2002. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years on December 10, 2009; sister, Georgia Trojacek Honza; and brother, Leo Trojacek. Survivors include her son, Gary A. Kohn, of Carrollton; daughter, Sharon Kohn Wilson and husband, Robert, of Ovilla; grandson, Alex Kohn; granddaughter, Leann Wilson; and her many loving nieces and nephews. M18
