Herald Coaster, December 11, 1992: Graveside services for Donna Desrochers, 53, of Cooperstown, N.Y., will be 10 a.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Rabbi Peter Schaktman will officiate. Mrs. Desrochers was born Feb. 2, 1939 in Lawton, Okla. She died Dec. 4 in Cooperstown. She grew up in Lake Jackson and graduated from high school there. She attended several universities, majoring in liberal arts and real estate. She had lived for many years in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands where she and her husband owned and operated several retail stores. She had made her home in Cooperstown for the past three years. She was a member of the St. Thomas Synagogue in Cooperstown. Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Desrochers of Cooperstown; her father, Max McCaskill of Brazoria; children, Samuel, Susan, Steven, Sharon, and Gene; a sister, Heather; brothers, Lloyd Scott and Edwin; grandchildren, Wendy, Katherine, and Braxton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
