Male 67 yr. 7 mo 26 days married retired mechanic Father: John Marion Mother: Matilda Flowers Burial: Payne Springs *********************** Corpus Christi Caller, Dec 1, 1959 Roy Marion, 67, a resident of the Annyville area died in a local hospital. A former mechanic, he retired about four years ago due to ill health. He had lived in the Corpus Christi area for about the past three years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Neta Marion; two sons, Billy Marion and Harold Marion; two daughters, Fern Marion and Mrs. Harry Ward; a brother, Robert Marion of Paynes Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Burdett, Mrs Mamie Crum and Mrs. Emma Crow; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His body will be sent to Athens, Texas. Clifford Jackson Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
