OBITUARY: Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, MN: "FRANK A. “Bud” TEREBAYZA, JR., age 77, of Hill City, MN died on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Duluth, MN. Frank was born in 1933 to Frank and Helen Terebayza in Robinsdale, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in Hill City, Minnesota and graduated from Hill City High School in 1951. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and returned to Hill City. Frank worked for U. S. Steel prior to being drafted into the service and he returned to U. S. Steel following his discharge where he worked for 30 years. He then worked 12 ½ years for Potlatch in Grand Rapids. He was united in marriage to Rosalie Ashton on October 19, 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and they made their home in Hill City. Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Grand Rapids and he was a former Commander of the Hill City American Legion Post 340. "He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Helen Margaret Terebayza; and three sisters, Francis Fuchs, Helen Mandich and Evelyn Terebayza." Frank is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosalie “Rosie”; three children, Jeffrey Allan Terebayza, Hill City, MN, Tracy (Dave) Berndt, Zimmerman, MN, and Michael (Stefanie) Terebayza, Urberach, Germany; three brothers, Charles Terebayza, Hill City, MN, William (Donna) Terebayza, Splithand Twp., MN, and Edward Terebayza, Grand Rapids, MN; six grandchildren, Liana, Cody DeCoursey, Maranda Berndt, Angelique Terebayza, Ashley Terebayza and Kiara Berndt; four great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Alexia, Darren & Mikayla Defoe-DeCoursey. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14th at Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Hill City Baptist Church. Rev. Lonnie Lee will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be at Hill Lake Cemetery, Hill City, MN. ---
