Funeral services for Ella Frances Hart, wife of J. W. Hart of Deutschburg community were held at the Palacios Funeral Home at 3 p. m. Tuesday. Services were conducted by Rev. Rayford Harris. Mrs. Hart was born Ella Frances Greenwalt June 19, 1888, at Garland, Texas, and was united in marriage to J. W. Hart July 31, 1905, at Plano and to this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Joe Hurta of Deutschburg. In 1913, Mr. and Mrs. Hart moved from north Texas to Jackson County where they spent the next 16 years of her life engaged in farming. They moved to the vicinity of Palacios in 1926 where she spent the remainder of her life. In 1917, a friend and neighbor, Mrs. J. W. Littleton passed away leaving an infant son. Mrs. Hart took the tiny baby, J. B. Littleton, to her heart and raised him as her own. Mrs. Hart has lived the quiet unassuming life of a partial invalid for many years, but the beautiful floral offerings spoke of the esteem held for her in the hearts of her many friends. Those left to mourn her death are her husband, J. W. Hart, a daughter, Mrs. Joe Hurta, six grandchildren, three brothers, Jim Greenwalt of Kerrville, Phillip Greenwalt of Edna, and Albert Greenwalt of Palacios. One sister, Mrs. Cassie Montgomery of Phoenix, Arizona. All of whom were present, but Mrs. Montgomery. Also many nieces and nephews. Those out-of-town to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cox of Conroe, Mr. and Mrs. Z. V. Kirby, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Kirby, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bragozowski of Victoria, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Salmos and son, Fred Voden of Garland, Mrs. J. B. Jones of La Ward, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Littleton, Garwood, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Adams, Alvin, Mrs. Ed Cox, Mrs. E. A. Smith of Corpus Christi, W. P. Greenawalt, J. B. Littleton of Houston, Mrs. John Swinky, Mrs. Stanley Kopnicky, Mrs. Louis Kopnicky of Blessing, Mr. and Mrs. A.
