Born in Andover Township, Albert was the son of A.M. & Christine Johnson. He was reared and educated in Andover, IL., where he farmed until his retirement, at which time he moved to Cambridge, IL. Two women who were reared from girlhood in the Johnson home were: Mrs. Donald Kempf and Mrs.Ila Pemberton
