Melba Brackney Kee, born in McKinney on Jan. 14, 1936, died in Dallas on Friday, March 20, 2015. Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at First United Methodist Church of Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson. A longtime resident of Fort Worth, Melba was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Melba was a generous, loving, beautiful lady who will be greatly missed. Survivors: She is survived by children, James Sterling Johnson and wife, Peggy, Joseph A. Kee and wife, Suzanne, Karen Kee Gentry and husband, Tom, and John Kee; grandchildren, Devon Johnson, Katie and Caroline Kee, Jordan Gentry Amis and husband, Brian, Jill Gentry Leandro and husband, Robb, Kevin Gentry and wife, Matalee; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Tommy Amis, Julianna and Giselle Leandro, and Sam Gentry.
