Bio
Opal was the daughter of late Guy and Ina Sherwood. She was the only girl of four children. Opal married Howard Meyer on November 6, 1946. They were blessed with three children, Ramona, Rogene and Radonna. Opal worked as a waitress for many years, before retiring from Blue Star Foods. She was a member of the Eagles Club for 50 years and loved everything about it. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; two daughters, Ramona and Radonna; one great grandson; and her three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Rogene (Meyer) Hiers & husband, David; her seven grandchildren, her twenty-two great grandchildren, her twenty-one great-great grandchildren with one on the way; and her special friends, Ruth Sorenson & Ellis Schroder.
