Bio

Jesse, son of William Frogge and Mary Polly Smith. Married Martha C. Smith, daughter of Reece Bowen and Margaret Smith, 07 March 1850 Fentress Co., TN. To this marriage were born: Mary Margaret, Leonidas Monroe, Ann, Martha Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, George L. Washington, John William and Maletha Louise. Jesse, 2nd cousin 3 times removed of Donnie Ruyle. Note: Jesse's sir name at birth was Frogg. The Frogg family changed the name to Frogge, Frogde and Frogue. I guess they didn't like to be called a "Frogg".
