Newspapers.com - Lubbock Avalanche-Journal - 21 Jun 1962 - Page 56 Ed Jennings, 72, of Carlisle died at today in West Texas Hospital where he had been a patient 12 days. Jennings who had lived in Lubbock for the last 12 years worked at Reese Air Force Base until 2½ years ago when he retired. He was a steam engineer. Before moving to Lubbock he worked in Alamogordo three years. He had spent most of his life in Oklahoma until moving to New Mexico 15 years ago. He was a member of Faith Temple Church. Jennings is survived by the widow; eight sons, E. L. Bright of Los Angeles, James Bright, Tulsa, Obie Bright of Alma, Okla., Alvin Jennings, Rt. 5. Lubbock, Orvie Jennings of Albert. Okla., Isaac Jennings of Hunting-| ton Park, Calif., Kenneth Jennings, Phoenix, and Odis Jennings of Huntington Park; two daughters, Mrs. : J. W. Taylor of Oklahoma City and Mrs. James Armour of Rt. 5. Lubbock; two brothers, John N. Jennings of Carter, Okla., and Bert Jennings of Morton; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Rinker of Elmore City, Okla., and Mrs. Lillie Matalen of Aztec. N. M.: 37 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday in Faith Temple Church. The Rev. Boyd McSpadden, pastor, will officiate. Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home will direct burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. —————————————————————- Edwin's Texas Death Certificate indicates he is interred here.
