BASSETT — John Leo Fletcher, 93, of Bassett died on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care in Bassett. Memorial services were on Saturday at the Emmanuel Community Church in Bassett with Pastor Dennis Quigley officiating. Inurnment was at Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery in Bassett. Hoch Funeral Home in Bassett was in charge of arrangements. He was born on Feb. 12, 1922, in Austin to James and Lena (Heil) Fletcher. He married Melva (Cords) on March 3, 1946, at Pleasanton. He was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis and John Fletcher. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife; one daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Don Pfeifer of Bassett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Jody Fletcher of Shelton and Monte and Mary Fletcher of Spencer; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Geri Fletcher of Gibbon.
