LEONARD D. HARDY, 82, 2700 Catalina Drive, Orlando, died Thursday. Born in Columbia, Tenn., he moved to Orlando from Arlington, Va., in 1959. He was a retired federal judge. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Downtown. Survivors: wife, Frances; daughters, Louise Ann, Birmingham, Ala., Martha H. Sears, Tampa; sons, Leonard D., Cypress, Greece, James Chappel III, Slidell, La.; sister, Laura Crites, Longwood; five grandchildren. Hawthorne Funeral Home, Orlando. Published in the Orlando March 16, 1990
