Age: 24 years 2 months 3 days NORTH TOPEKA—Wallace Whipps, age 24 years, died this morning about 5 o’clock of consumption at his home, 815 Monroe street. Mr. Whipps had at one time been connected with the baggage department of the Union Pacific. The funeral announcement will be made later. — Topeka State Journal (Topeka, KS), September 20, 1904, 5:5. ST. MARYS—Wallace Whipps, who at one time worked at the depot here, died at his home in Topeka Wednesday of consumption. — St. Mary’s Star (St. Mary’s KS), September 22, 1904, 3:4. NORTH TOPEKA—The funeral of Wallace Whipps will be held from his late residence 815 Monroe street, Thursday and the burial will be in the Grantville cemetery. — Topeka State Journal (Topeka, KS), September 21, 1904, 7:6. Wallace Whipps and Ora E. Mongold were married on Dec. 16, 1901 at Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.
