Herald Coaster, June 16, 1976: Funeral services for Mrs. Lina Margaret Poncik, 68, of Freeport, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Garmany & Co. Chapel in Rosenberg. The Rev. Stephen Orian of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Freeport will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn. Mrs. Poncik died Tuesday at the Houston Northwest Medical Center. She lived at Atlanta, Ga. prior to moving to Freeport where she married Paul Poncik of Rosenberg 27 years ago. Survivors include her husband, Paul, of Freeport; two sons, Jack Darley of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Terry Darley of Las Vegas, Nevada; and five grandchildren. Friends may call at Garmany & Co. in Rosenberg after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
