Bio

Born to Henry and Rose (Key) Sims. She died of injuries received in a car accident a mile west of Chapman, Nebraska on Highway 30. She attended school in Clarks and married Alfred Grubbs in 1926 in Grand Island. She worked as a cook for various restaurants for many years before retiring. She was survived by two sons, Al and Lavern Grubbs, three daughters, Betty, Elenora and Arlene. two brothers, Clarence and Marvin Sims and two sisters, Freida Reeves and Pearl Pannier. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Kenneth and two sisters, Myrtle and Ruth.
