Bio

Lorraine, 86, (Hall) of Parma, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Mrs. Parrott was the daughter of William and Louise (Miller) Richards. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Bill Parrott; three children, Jim (Peggy) and their son, Ryan (Courtney) Parrott; Diana (John) Midgley and their children, Kelly (Michael) Sheppard, and John (Nicole) Midgley; Brad (Vicki) Parrott and their children, Cory (Melissa) Parrott, and Wendy (John) Hays; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Russell (Isabelle) Richards; two sisters, Winnie (Melvin) O'Dell, and Elizabeth (Lowell) Wonus; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clifford Hall, and Harry Richards; sister, Joyce Richards. Lorraine was a 1946 graduate from Parma High School. She retired from Western Schools after 24 years, where she was a cook, then a librarian. She enjoyed baking cakes for all occasions, especially wedding cakes. Lorraine was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #430, and Past President of District 12 Rebekah Lodge, and also the North Parma United Methodist Church. Lorraine loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and bowling. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life was held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Parma, Friday, March 20 with Reverend Melissa Claxton officiating.
