Fort Bend Herald, October 30, 2009: A funeral mass for Franklin E. Trojcak, 82, of Cuero, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, with the Rev. Stephen B. Reynolds officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Franklin was born Jan. 25, 1927 in Hallettsville to Emil and Annie Steinocher Trojcak. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army from May 1945 until his discharge in November of 1946. While he was still actively going to St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, Franklin was involved in organizations such as the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society, as well as S.P.J.S.T. He passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 in Victoria. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Trojcak; parents, Emil and Annie Trojcak; sister, Lorene Krause; and special long-time friend, Betty Prasek. Franklin is survived by his children, Frankie E. Trojcak and wife, Jill, Carl Trojcak and wife, Kim, and Debbie Morrison and husband, Travis; grandchildren, Traci Morrison and Carli Trojcak, both of Sugar Land; sister, Jeanette Supak and husband, Albert "Sonny" of Ganado; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends. Pallbearers will include Bruce Sulak, Albert Joe Supak III, Gary Button, Mark Lowik, David Chernosky, Frankie Joe Netardus, Ahmed Khaled, and Matthew Khaled. Memorial donations may be made in Franklin's name to the American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Dr., Suite 175, Houston, Texas 77057.
