Mr. Foshee, born in Hot Springs, Ark., moved to the Alanreed area from Eric, Okla. in 1933. He retired from the Rock Island Railroad as section foreman in 1970. Mr. Foshee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alanreed and the McLean Masonic Lodge 889. Survivors include one son, Ernest, McLean; three daughters, Mrs. Lorene Thompson and Pauline Hawley, both of Amarillo; Mrs. Billie Hutto, LaMarque; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Lauton, Roswell, N.M. and Mrs. Maudie Terry, Glenwood, Ark.; and 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. —Pampa Daily News (Pampa, Texas), January 1, 1974, p. 2.
