Mr. Walker was born May 17. 1927 in Angelina County, Texas to Lillie Cochran Ivy Walker and James Henry Walker Sr. and passed away November 21, 2013. He was survived by his beloved wife, Martha, who he married in 1972; son, Mitchell; daughter, Gay; as well as a host of other loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Kay Walker, in May 1975 at the age of 17. She is buried in Harnett Co., North Carolina in Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery next to her mother, Helen O. Holder. The memorial on FAG lists Karen's name as Karen H.; however it was Karen Kay. Her birthday was Oct. 2, 1957. James made the selfless decision to donate his body to science to further research into Alzheimer's Disease. *Source: James' son - Karen's brother.
