Bio
Herald Coaster, July 16, 1964: Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Sobotik, 61, were held at the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg at 8:45 a.m. Monday, July 13, followed by Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 9 a.m., with Msgr. J.J. TYdlacka officiating. Mrs. Sobotik passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Noska, in Rosenberg following a long illness. Survivors are one son, Jesse Sobotik of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Blanch Stibora of Stafford; five grandchildren; one brother, Fred Matus of Fort Worth; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Noska of Rosenberg, Mrs. Louis Ubernosky of Caldwell, and Mrs. Julia Gold of Caldwell. Pallbearers were Marvin Ubernosky, Edwin Ubernosky, Melvin Ubernosky, Herbert Ubernosky, Sylvester Gold, and Emil Sablatura. Interment was made in the East Garden of Gethsemane.
