Candice L. Jones, age 53, of Broken Bow, Ne. died Friday March 6th 2015 at the Jennie Melham Hospital in Broken Bow. A Memorial service will be held Friday March 13th at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow with Minister Kathy Salts officiating. Inurnment will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Candice L. Jones was born September 22, 1961 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Donald and Marge (Ondrak) Jones. Candice attended school in Broken Bow, graduating in the class of 1979. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, camping, playing the piano, and the outdoors. Candice is survived by five sons Rowdy (Leslea) Woodward of Broken Bow, Bernie (Kim) Woodward of Broken Bow, Kasey (Rachel) Woodward of Broken Bow, Jed (Amanda) Potter of Eddyville, and Bobbie (Kindra) Potter of Anselmo. 11 grandchildren Wyatt, Brycen, Destry, Travis, Teagan, Makenna, Kelsy, Quincy, Kaylie, Cale, and Bentley. Her father Don (Shirley) Jones of Broken Bow, 2 sisters Carla (Bud) Clark of Broken Bow, Kristi Jones of Merna, 3 brothers Doug Jones of Broken Bow, Casey (Korrena) Jones of Broken Bow, and Josh Jones of Merna, Ne. Candice was preceded in death by her mother and a grandson.
