Bio
Franklin J. Huser, Sr. , age 83, passed away on March 7, 2015. He was born on August 6, 1931 in Shiner, TX to Joseph and Johanna Huser. He honorably served in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Franklin was also a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elo Huser; and sister, Estelle Bartek. Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Stacy Huser; children, Ben Huser, Sr. (Maria), Michael Huser, Sr. (Sarah), Franklin Huser, Jr. (Emily), Sandra Young (Donald), Paula Riley (John), and Denise Casas (Oscar); twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nixon, TX with a Rosary recited by Deacon John Moreno. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Ouseph Kuriakose officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Nixon.
