William "Melvin" Monroe, 63, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015. Interment: in Salt Creek Cemetery in Early. Melvin was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Monroe; and parents, Leroy Monroe and Beverly Scott. Survivors: Son, Cody Monroe (Cathy) of Cumby; daughters, Jenny Blevins (Jerry) of Plano and Julie Benson (Charlie) of Highland Village; sisters, Vicki Ayers and Debra Elders (Kenneth) of White Settlement; grandchildren, Maci Monroe, Keili Monroe, Chayton Monroe, Noah Brown, Natalie Nowlin, Lexi Benson, Zane Benson and Marlie Benson; and great-grandchildren, Marlie Monroe and Madison Monroe.
