Joseph Jindra, 74, Fremont, died March 4 at Hill Haven Home, Omaha. Rev. Tom Shaw officiated at the 2 p.m., graveside service March 8 at Memorial Cemetery, Fremont. Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, was in charge of arrangements. The son of Anton and Anna Matejka Jindra, he was born April 11, 1913 in Linwood and attended rural Butler County Schools. On July 28, 1937 he married Wilma Rezac at Wahoo. Most of their married years were lived in Morse Bluff. Jindra had been employed as a truck driver by Willard Barry Transportation Co., Weston, and Wolf Sand and Gravel, Morse Bluff. Survivors include his wife, son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Jeanette Jindra, Fremont; step-grandson, Elmer Liska Jr., Houston, Texas; brother, Edward, Schuyler; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Kucera, Lincoln; Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Parolek and Mrs. Burton (Rose) Knepper, Schuyler.
