McKinney, Texas -- Mrs. Billye Joyce McMahan Van Bevers, age 79 of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 15, 2006, in Plano, Texas. She was born on August 24, 1926 in Collin County, Texas to O. A. and Clara (Cherry) McMahan. She married Lloyd Lee (Buck) Van Bevers on August 23, 1981 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Van Bevers was an office manager for Agriculture and Soil Conservation Service office in McKinney, Texas for over 25 years. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Van Bevers is survived by her brother, Bill Bass and wife, Patricia of McKinney, Texas; aunt, Edith Decolaines also of McKinney; and numerous other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Pastor Ebb Qualls officiating.
