CASTLE DALE - Nathalia Diane (Russell) Van Wagoner, 63, passed away on May 14, 2006 in West Jordan. She was born Oct. 21, 1942 in Fillmore to Harold Russell and Lurine (Lee) Russell Paxton. Delivered along with her twin brother, Dennis.She married Gary Van Wagoner Nov. 5, 1966. They made their home in Salt Lake City, later moving to Cleveland. She held a deeply rooted devotion to her family and a strong disposition that some would consider stubborn. Diane possessed a "heart of gold" and would give to others, often before her own needs were met. Her grandkids were her life's fulfillment and she would hand-make items to give to them. Diane was the essence of strength. She held the desire to overcome any obstacle that challenged her. Her complete affection to her family and friends will be dearly missed. Diane is survived by children, Dan of Castle Dale; Terry of Ogden; Jerry and Gary, both of West Valley; and Tammy (Steve) Lyons of West Jordan; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by brothers, Dennis and Merl; and sister, Shirley. Preceded in death by husband, Gary; father, Harold; mother, Lurine; stepfather, Albert Paxton; and brother, Melvin. Services were Wednesday, May 17, at the Cleveland LDS Chapel. Interment, Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
