Martha Jane Frederick, 85, Dies Six Days After Death of Her Husband Six days ago an East Texas pioneer and minister, J. R. Frederick, 84, of Garrison, route 3, was called in death. Thursday, May 6, services were held for Martha Jane Frederick, 85, his widow and companion for many years. Just six days after her loved one answered death's summmons, six days of heartache and missing devotion of her loved one, this devoted wife and mother followed her companion in death. Her body rests along side that of her husband at Walnut Grove cemetery; Rev. A. T. Garrard, pastor of the Old North Church, and Rev. O. A. Mosely of Appleby conducted rites. Mrs. Frederick was born in Nacogdoches county, had lived in this county all of her life. Surviving children are Mrs. Alice Terrell, Mrs. Martha Stanaland, Miss Emily Frederick.
