Cora May Carlson Waukee Nov. 5, 2006 Cora May Carlson, 68 of Waukee, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006. Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 8 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Burial was at the Walnut Township Cemetery in Waukee. Mrs. Carlson was born in Clarke County and lived in the Waukee area for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane, and two sons, Mark of Perry, and Tom of Adel. Survivors include a son, Mike of Des Moines; a daughter, Deb of Waukee, one sister, Leann Gattuso of Reseda, Calif.; two brothers, Elsie Pettis of Winfield, Tenn., and Claude Petties of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Debra Carlson in Waukee.
