Bio

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Theron C. Burkhart of Eugene, who died May 13 of age-related causes at age 95. He was born Aug. 14, 1910, in Mitchell County, Texas, to Leonidas and Margie Bristo Burkhart. He married Mary Goodwin on March 18, 1941, in Abilene, Texas. She died Oct. 30, 2001. He worked as a grocery clerk. Survivors include a daughter, Leslie Coffey of Dublin, Ireland; two sons, Chris of Portland and Steve of Gig Harbor, Wash.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to PeaceHealth Hospice. Register Guard May 16 2006
