Bio

Almeda was the youngest of eleven children born to Jacob Wagoner & Susannah Everhart.  She had 5 brothers; Benjamin, William, Jacob, Henry & Gideon & 5 sisters; Sarah, Susannah, Mary & Malinda & Lucinda, twins. She also had four half brothers; George, Daniel, John & Elmer & a half sister; Catherine, from her father's second marriage to Mary Weitzel. Almeda married Eleven Woodford 20 Aug 1873 in Warren, Iowa & they had 7 children, Francis E., Laura A, Lousia M. , Sylvannie "Vannie", Erret, Luella "Ella" & Alice.  The family moved to the Ashland, Nebraska area about 1886.  Almeda's husband preceded her in death in 1926, as did her daughter, Mrs. Laura Tarpening in 1932.
