Hazel F. Brown, 97, of Burleson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests donations to First United Methodist Church of Burleson, 590 N.E. McAlister Road, Burleson, Texas 76028, or a . Hazel was born March 23, 1917, in Taylor to Axel Flink and Mary Johnson Flink. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Brown; parents; brother, Axel; and sister, Gertrude. Hazel was a very active, longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Burleson. She was an artist who loved her Swedish heritage.
